Healthy Iced Protein Caffè Mocha. An easy to make, high protein, no sugar added recipe for a refreshing iced mocha!
My knowledge of coffee is pretty limited (besides the fact that I know it’s DANG tasty), but I have massive respect for coffee experts and am always seeking to learn more. The different bean types, roasts, and coffee methodologies are just so fascinating to me. Barista-ing is both a science and an art and I hope to learn everything I can about the coffee world!
For this recipe you can use whatever your favorite go to coffee is! Whether that be caffeinated or decaf, K cup, fresh grounds, or whatever your go to is – get as simple or as fancy as you want!
I was inspired to create this recipe because I was craving a healthier version of the sugar and cream laden iced drinks at coffee shops. I love this recipe because it only requires 3 simple ingredients, a blender bottle (or blender), and a little bit of time to chill!
It gets better though – this Healthy Iced Protein Caffè Mocha has just 45 calories, less than 1 gram of sugar, and a whole 9 grams of protein!
Next time that energy is low, grab this protein mocha for a double punch of caffeine for the mind and protein for the body!
