Healthy Spinach Artichoke Dip

Healthy Spinach Artichoke Dip

Healthy Spinach Artichoke Dip. Low fat, higher protein spinach artichoke dip that makes the perfect appetizer or side dish!

Every Christmas Eve my family has a tradition of serving an assortment of appetizers. Dad’s homemade buffalo wings, my aunt’s flavorful prosciutto rolls, grandma’s classic meatballs, and more! One of the stars of the lineup though has always been Spinach and Artichoke Dip. I have always loved the tangy flavor of the artichokes balanced by the creaminess of the cheese!

Spinach Artichoke Dip is definitely just a couple times a year for things like Christmas Eve and Super Bowl in our house though. But my love for this dip inspired me to create a more wholesome version to justify eating it alllll the time! 😉

My secret ingredients for this dip are to use Greek yogurt blended with cottage cheese as the base. It provides that same cheesy like flavor and texture, yet is much higher in protein and lower in fat than traditional dip.

Another reason I love this Spinach Artichoke Dip is that it can be easily made in a blender. I’m a proponent of super simple appetizer recipes because you’re most likely also prepping for a holiday, game day party, or other parts of a meal and any time you can save is priceless.

What’s your go to appetizer dip? Buffalo chicken? Sour cream? Seven layer? Hopefully this Spinach Artichoke will become apart of your line up of favorites!
