Chocolate Almond Protein Bars

Chocolate Almond Protein Bars

Chocolate Almond Protein Bars. Homemade, healthy protein bars that are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free.

I’ve become kinda obsessed with making my own protein bars lightly. I loooove being able to mess around with different flavors, adjust them to my nutrition and preferences, and most of all – save some money!

Another bonus of this DIY protein bar craze for me is that I ALWAYS have sweet treats on hand lately. Seriously – all of the bar recipes I’ve created so far taste like dessert!

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the protein powder, coconut flour, tahini, honey, and almond milk until thoroughly mixed. Fold in the sliced almonds.
  2. On a piece of parchment or wax paper, shape the dough into a rectangle. Feel free to adjust rectangle to size preference, mine was about 7 by 4.5 inches.
  3. Place shaped dough into freezer for 15-20 minutes or until firm, but not totally set.
  4. Slice the firm dough into 4 bars. Wrap bars in plastic wrap, bags, or store in an airtight container. Keep frozen and thaw just slightly before enjoying!
